Valerie is a senior who has been part of the team since 10th grade. She primarily competes in Original Oratory but has also participated in Congress, Info, and Poetry. Passionate about addressing meaningful issues, she enjoys using her platform to advocate for her community. Her love of research has drawn her to prepared speaking events, and she’s always eager to explore new topics. Valerie is also deeply passionate about her culture, her faith, and good music.   Valerie is excited to mentor a new group of Speechies and welcomes questions, promising to answer to the best of her ability. Most of all, she encourages everyone to try speech and debate and experience the incredible community it offers.
