Hayden is a senior who has been part of the Speech & Debate team since 8th grade. Her main event is Congressional Debate, though she also competes in Public Forum and hopes to explore speech events in her final year. After five years of competing, she hopes to share the skills and experiences she's gained with new team members. Some of her favorite memories come from the annual road trips to Navajo Prep, especially the endless rounds of reciting speeches that somehow always turned into singing Hamilton songs with Iyla in the backseat. Outside of Speech & Debate, Hayden enjoys reading, baking, traveling, cross-stitching, and putting her public speaking skills to use at the nearest protest.
