Anagha first joined the speech and debate team in eighth grade because she “really liked to argue.” While that’s still true four years later, her love for Speech and Debate now comes from how it’s helped her grow as an advocate and from the countless connections she’s made with teammates. Her primary event is Public Forum debate, which she competes in with her incredible partner, Jaycee. Some of her favorite memories include creating a Hunger Games simulation at Districts, exploring the French Quarter during Newman, and Target runs at Nationals. As a Public Forum captain this year, she looks forward to sharing her love for the event and the knowledge she’s gained over five years on the team with new members.
